Through the rescue Love and Second Chances, Samantha was paired with a sweet puppy from the streets named Willy. She was not positive she was at a place in her life where she could have a dog but she knew that she wanted one. The application process took some time and she sent a video to the organization showing the safe home she had for Willy. She was approved and Willy hopped on the plane from Taiwan. Samantha changed his name to Koa and that is just who he is now. Samantha and Koa immediately made each others lives better.
